Satan attacks and we are supposed to use our best defense which is the Word of God and our resistance to his lies. Any believer experiences it and you can tell when you feel discouraged, when you feel lonely, ugly, unnecessary, or any other negative emotion or you start having more problems than usual.

I experience it regularly but most of the time I'm just guessing that's what is going on. A Christian faces 3 enemies, the Devil and his evil spirits, the world and the flesh. It's sometimes hard to determine exactly what the source of trouble is but you just have to make up your mind to do things God's way and then it doesn't really matter what the source of temptation or trouble is.

It can best be explained like this: In Romans 8:35 of course "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?..."
Then we must go to the book of Revelation 22:15 which tells us about today and this time we are living in.
"Outside are the dogs those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood."
These are but a few of the things we fight not in the flesh but in the Spirit. For the flesh is weak and often willing, but the Spirit of the Lord is strong. As the Word said the battle is not mine but God's! We don't fight the fight alone. Paul wrote I have fought the fight,I have run the race. But he did it while in the Spirit of the Lord and living the life of Christ!
Peace unto you all.

I have a physical form. Thankfully I have not had to deal with anything other than Human Warfare. I hope that there is no conflicts in the spirit world.

Show me where the words "spiritual warfare" is listed in the Bible and I'll answer your question. That is a term made up by scholars who have nothing else to do but think up new terms for stuff.

Also, God never said fight the devil, He said flee from the devil.

it is when you are to do what is right in the eyes of God, instead of what is right in your own eyes, for instance to look at a beautiful woman without even the smallest bit of lust is a very very hard thing for most men, it is better not to look at all. this is one example of spiritual warfare in ones mind or (spirit)

Christ is our "peace", not our warfare: Ephesians 2.
Once you abolish enmity(law), there's no war to fare.
