Ask the judge. Unless the records are sealed by court order, everything said in court is already public record. If the trial is not over, there MAY be a 'gag order'.

I think that if the case goes to court, then it should not be discussed. If you have colleagues that worked in the case, you could probably discuss it with them. However, when discussing whether in public or private, it is always better to remove names and specific location places so that in case of confidentiality, they cannot be identified and you are not in breach of any confidentiality requirements if that is the case.

If you are a medic, then your department has very specific guidelines which governs public and private discussions about work matters.

as a medic you are kind of like a dr or someone who has taken the confidentiality pledge...talking in generalities is always permissible as long as you don't let names slip...you have to be able to discuss matters to keep your sanity...talking to your colleagues will definitely help, yet you still need to use discretion in who you let in on all the details...use your best judgement and you will be ok...
