I'm trying to think of a fun idea for Purim at my synagogue this year. I am on the planning committee and we always try to top ourselves, last year we turned the service into kind of a rock concert with a storyline and it went very well.

Maybe you could turn it into a movie night and watch One Night With The King since that's where the feast of Purim came from isn't it? It's pretty close to what the Bible teaches from the book of Esther.

I attended a play at a Messianic Jewish fellowship put on by the youth group.. The play depicted similar anti Semitism found in the book of Esther in a modern high school setting. It was very well done and deliverance for the Jew was forthcoming . You could write a play and title it " For such a time as this" That was not the name of the play I saw but I thought it would be appropriate.
