After I put in the 3 tablespoon of eggs and some flour, and rolled the dough and cut them into pieces and then put them in boiling water ,it just like POTATOES! haha

Pasta and potatos, but you can make it taste like anything you want by putting a sauce over it.

That's why they're potato gnocchi! They end up tasting like a cross between mashed potatoes and pasta. Great with Greek stew (Stiffado) or marinara or bolognese or meat sauce.

They make a nice change from regular pastas or potatoes!

It all depend on the recipe, and where the recipe came from. gnocchi from austria, south italia and north are all slightly different. also if the recipe is not a old fashioned recipe it can make a difference. I've been eating them all my life but i can't explain the taste.

That's pretty much how they taste..you can add various spices and herbs for different tasting gnocchi. You can make them with sweet potatoes too..

Dough .. haha. They're soo good. Especially with alfredo sauce .. it's a really rich but so goood. =]
