Read the Bible and pray. Read The Gates Of Hell Shall Not Prevail by D. James Kennedy and or The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel. Both are very reinforcing of the faith. God bless!!
I believe the Bible is the Word Of God. You have to start there. Those who claim to be Christians and say that the Bible is only a book written by men don't know what they believe. They can just make it up as they go along. I also believe that the transformation of the disciples from scared men cowering away in the upper room to men who boldly and fearlessly preached the Gospel was proof that they had seen Him risen. Matthew 28:12-15 states that the elders paid the soldiers to say the disciples stole the body as they slept. Let's just say the disciples stole the body. Don't you think if they had stolen the body at least one of them would have spoke up about the fraud rather than be tortured and ultimately killed for a lie. This goes against human nature.
Muslims teach that they hung the wrong person on the cross."They slew him not nor crucified, but it appeared so unto them"(Surah 4:157).Do you not think that Jesus disciples and mother knew if it was really Him or not? Then you have Jesus appearing to the disciples after he had risen saying" Behold my hands and my feet".
Consider this excerpt from The Gate O Hell Shall Not Prevail...
Dr. Principal Hill, who wrote the Letters in Divinity which was popular in the 19th century, has shown the absurdity of the fraud theory perhaps more succinctly than anyone else:
"You must suppose that 12 men of mean birth, of no education, living in humble station which placed ambitious views out of their reach and far from their thoughts, without any aid from the state, formed the noblest scheme which ever entered the mind of men, adopted the most daring means of executing that scheme, cunducted it with such address as to conceal the imposture under the semblance of simplicity and virtue. You must suppose, also, that men guilty of blasphemy and falsehood, united in an attempt the best contrived, and which has in fact proved the most successful for making the world virtuous; that they formed this single enterprise without seeking any advantage to themselves, with an avowed contempt of loss and profit, and with the certain expectation of scornand persecution: that although conscious of one anothers villainy, none of them ever thought of providing for his own security by disclosing the fraud, but that amidst sufferings the most grevious to flessh and blood they persevered in their conspiracy to CHEAT the world into PIETY, HONESTY AND BENEVOLENCE. Truly, they who can swallow such suppositions have no title to object to miracles,"

There is a beautiful painting by Jean Troy called "The Ascension." It's very inspiring. You can get an inexpensive print almost anywhere. This might be a good visual tool to help you "envision" the ascension of Jesus. ... Blessings!
edit...I guess I took the askers meaning too literally. I naturally thought that as a Christian he believes in the ascension, but was just having trouble "visualizing" the actual event in his mind's eye. ... Oh well, the painting is beautiful!

I would consider the evidence at hand. There are eye witness accounts of the event. Jesus enemies and critics of Christianity would not challenge the Resurrection since it was a pretty evident fact so to do so would be intellectually dishonest. The priests, had they been able to get their hands on Jesus body, could have just paraded it around the streets to prove the Resurrection a lie, but they could not because the body was not in the tomb.
With that background, read the Gospel of John.

Jonah, as you know, was swallowed by a great fish and stayed in its belly for 3 days. After 3 days the fish spewed or vomited Jonah on to dry land. We might have probems envisioning a person today being swallowed by a whale, for example, and then live to tell about it. Well, that's what happened to Christ. Christ was in the grave for 3 days and then an angel moved the stone away from the tomb. Jesus arose and appeared to many people before He ascended to His Father.
The same power that caused the fish to spew Jonah out of the fishs' belly is the same power that resurrected Christ from the grave. Jonah lived to tell about his ordeal, and Christ lives to tell about His resurrection.

Another good book is Who Moved the Stone. Written by a man who set out to prove the resurrection was false and after researching all the data from the Bible and all we know about the times and ancient customs/laws etc. he came to the conclusion that the only possible answer is that Jesus rose from the dead.

thats totally normal. everyone has there doubts about Jesus. this is something that you will have to develop yourself - read the bible, meditate, or whatever.
think about this if ur not sure if Jesus is real or not -
Jesus is God for the following reasons :
1)JESUS IS NOT A LIAR - why would someone die just for a lie? no one in there right mind woudl do so, which leads me to my next point
2)JESUS IS NOT A LUNATIC - someone who is not in their right mind woudl probably not do ANY of the things that Jesus did
3)THAT MEANS JESUS IS GOD! if he is not a liar or a lunatic, there is no other explanation other than Jesus is God!
take time, and go to church and study the bible and surround urself with others that are Christians. you will develop a strong faith. I am only 15 and i have a strong faith already, nad im sure u can too!

JESUS CHRIST
The name and title of the Son of God from the time of his anointing while on earth.
The name Jesus (Gr., I?e?sous´) corresponds to the Hebrew name Jeshua (or, in fuller form, Jehoshua), meaning “Jehovah Is Salvation.” The name itself was not unusual, many men being so named in that period. For this reason persons often added further identification, saying, “Jesus the Nazarene.” (Mr 10:47; Ac 2:22) Christ is from the Greek Khri?stos´, the equivalent of the Hebrew Ma?shi´ach (Messiah), and means “Anointed One.” Whereas the expression “anointed one” was properly applied to others before Jesus, such as Moses, Aaron, and David (Heb 11:24-26; Le 4:3; 8:12; 2Sa 22:51), the position, office, or service to which these were anointed only prefigured the superior position, office, and service of Jesus Christ. Jesus is therefore preeminently and uniquely “the Christ, the Son of the living God.”—Mt 16:16; see CHRIST; MESSIAH.
So Jesus’ death took place on Friday, Nisan 14, by about 3:00 p.m.—Lu 23:44-46.
God’s ability to resurrect. For the One with the ability and power to create man in His own image, with a perfect body and with the potential for full expression of the marvelous characteristics implanted in the human personality, it would pose no insurmountable problem to resurrect an individual. If scientific principles established by God can be used by scientists to preserve and later reconstruct a visible and audible scene by means of videotape, how easy it is for the great Universal Sovereign and Creator to resurrect a person by repatterning the same personality in a newly formed body. Concerning the revitalizing of Sarah to have a child in her old age, the angel said: “Is anything too extraordinary for Jehovah?”—Ge 18:14; Jer 32:17, 27.
Heavenly Resurrection.
Jesus Christ is called “the firstborn from the dead.” (Col 1:18) He was the first ever to be resurrected to everlasting life. And his resurrection was “in the spirit,” to life in heaven. (1Pe 3:18) Moreover, he was raised to a higher form of life and a higher position than that which he had held in the heavens prior to coming to earth. He was granted immortality and incorruption, which no creature in the flesh can have, and was made “higher than the heavens,” second only to Jehovah God in the universe. (Heb 7:26; 1Ti 6:14-16; Php 2:9-11; Ac 2:34; 1Co 15:27) His resurrection was performed by Jehovah God himself.—Ac 3:15; 5:30; Ro 4:24; 10:9.
However, for 40 days after his resurrection Jesus appeared to his disciples on different occasions in various fleshly bodies, just as angels had appeared to men of ancient times. Like those angels, he had the power to construct and to disintegrate those fleshly bodies at will, for the purpose of proving visibly that he had been resurrected. (Mt 28:8-10, 16-20; Lu 24:13-32, 36-43; Joh 20:14-29; Ge 18:1, 2; 19:1; Jos 5:13-15; Jg 6:11, 12; 13:3, 13) His many appearances, and particularly his manifesting himself to more than 500 persons at one time, provide strong testimony to the truth of his resurrection. (1Co 15:3-8) His resurrection, so well attested, furnishes “a guarantee to all men” regarding the certainty of a future day of reckoning or judgment.—Ac 17:31.

Things like Jesus being the son of God (reason: Buddha, for example, never said he was the son of God, he was enlightened, that's all and his message still lasts after thousands of years) or Jesus rising from the dead are not that important really when you think... What matters is that He was someone very special with a very positive message and that He died for what He believed in and that He died for us. That's what matters. All the rest is really secondary and only important for fanatics who need miracles to believe in something.

When the spirit leaves tho body, the body is dead. But if the spirit returns to the body, it becomes alive again. There are many things we will not, and maybe cannot understand, but Jesus calls us to receive him with faith like a child. Just to believe Him, take Him at his Word.

That's not surprising, dear one. Who of us can truly envision a miracle! I would suggest that you read the Gospels and listen to the 'eyewitness' of Jesus' resurrection. As you read, put yourself in their shoes. Think what is going through their head as they see Jesus right before their very eyes. He said he would come back - he did! Think about the disciples seeing Jesus on the shore cooking, or Thomas or simply doubted - but Jesus walks up to him and says, "Thomas, touch my hands where the nails were." It was just as difficult for them, dear one, as it is for us who have never seen Jesus physically. But believeing is about 'faith'! Faith in the things unseen. Look to the cross.... Jesus backs His words! Think about it. Blessings.
