Well I've never heard about Cocoa butter for acne scars only for stretch marks and a few manly extra cirricular activities. If you're going to try it I'd recommend Queen Helene's cocoa butter there is less crap in it and you can find it at Walmarts or Jewel Oscos.

I would not recommend cocoa butter for acne scars. Cocoa butter is thick & may block your pores.
Retin-A helped diminish my shallow acne scars. It only available by prescription.
Many women swear by the aspirin mask to promote cell turnover & diminish acne scars. Here's the recipe:
Crush 4 - 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask. Or mix them with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask or aloe vera gel instead of water. Apply a thin layer where needed & let dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off w/ cool water.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Cocoa butter wont do it. Get an at home microdermabraision kit, or use the aspirin mask detailed above.

Acne is a serious skin problems and you need to know the real cause. The more important thing is change your diet, try skin infection and consult your dermatology.
