Wicca, witches, and anyone else that may be able to help me this is a serious question?

I am a Christian. A long time ago I use to play with the ouja board. I actually took part in some senance and helped someone work a spell to give someone a cold (common cold), I have had two love spells done for me - didn't work, I have done TM meditation, tried astral projection, hypnosis, reiki. All before I went back to Christianity. I did this when I was younger - I didn't know any better - my parents didn't seem to care either way what I was doing and I was experimenting with stuff. Recently, LOTS of strange things started. People seemed to know what I was thinking. They all repeated the same things back to me that I had done for the day. Everyone was waving at me, Everyone was doing the same thing I was doing, I started to get very paranoid - schizo, depressed, I nearly killed myself - swarm of flies in bedrmPeople in church said I was being attacked by demons. Look, this is a serious question. I actually was a really happy person before all this weird stuff started to happen. When I went to talk to my pastor he said sounds like demons. He asked me a list of questions - if I ever participated in certain things. Which I did. Now, at this time I am no longer going through that but I really wanted to know if you have ever worked with spirits and can they attack you? I need to know for my kids sake too. Thanks for your (serious) help.

Actually, that's the thing - I started to doubt my faith..the exisistence of Jesus..God. it was bad. My children started saying there was no God when they were so "faithful" I spoke to someone and she thinks by getting tangled up in New Age stuff (when I was younger too) - talking to angels etc. did it too. She said it took her several years to get free. BTW, I did claim the blood of Jesus. Alot of times.

I did NOT think I would suffer for any actions. And actually, I would say I went through a series of people doing bad things to me - and through it all I still remained positive (and these people probably should be feeling guilty - not me). I was very happy before all this had occurred. I had just started in a new relationship and I was falling in love when this stuff started. Does that sound like I was walking with guilt? First, I am sure witches and wiccans have "spirit" guides so why can you not conceive that there are bad spirits that might attack? And why would my pastor know a list of things to ask me that I had innvolved myself in. I had forgot about the ouja board actually.

I was uninformed when I did it. I didn't know love spells were bad either. It's love so I had no idea it's wrong. How would I do a banishing spell? I REALLY did not know anything when I messed around. And when I did the spell with a bunch of kids for giving a kid a cold I was 17 so were the others. We were just messing around. This all came up after I spoke to my pastor. Is anyone reading what I am writing? I'm older now from that time.

How would I fill my thoughts with positive energy. I do appreciate the answers don't mean to be gruff.

Hi Lisa, you DON'T need professional help. I had the same kind of problems you are going through. It is an opportunity to grow you faith. To trust God with all your heart, and hold onto His Bible like the greatest treasure. The Bible says, "You are a Child of God, and the evil one cannot touch you." Ask God to forgive you for all those sins, and speak against the thoughts and spirits if there are any. The devil hates to give up easy, but Jesus overcame him the same way, He spoke the Word of God to the devil, and eventually the devil ran away. The devil's nothing more than a pesky fly, keep swatting him with scripture and don't give up.
Find a good pastor who knows how to fight the good fight. Jesus overcame the enemy, defeated him on the Cross, and by the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS! Speak the Word to the devil like you are swinging a sword. May God help you and may you hold tightly to Jesus Christ and your faith.

Ouijas are not safe, and should not be played with. You can, through a ouija, accidentally and unknowingly let negative forces through. I would tell a fellow witch to do a banishing ritual. But you're Christian, so I can only say to pray that it will leave.

You seem to regret having participated in these things, so it's possible that you might just be a little too upset. But if you believe you have some negative force/entity in your home, don't ignore it. Get help from your pastor or a trusted Christian friend.

I think that the main problem is that you doubt of your faith. If you believe in Jesus and you know him there is nothing to be worried about. There is not such thing like doors left open. I don't believe in that. You know how I called it? Lack of forgiveness. Once God forgive your for something he don't remember it and the devil can reclaim nothing to you. It's up to you to believe. About the paranoia thing I really believe that you should speak to a christian counselor. To be honest, sometimes pastors don't know what to say when some things happen, believe me, things happened to me while I started to be a full time christian and they don;t help much because they are too busy for that. Look for a counselor, if not in your church in other churches that offer help for free. Another thing, teen people tend to be confused more easily because they had not seen the life for a longer period of time. Teen time is to experiment and the curiosity can take them to make big mistakes. Christianity is a way of life. Although some people thing that we are crazy because we yelled "Hallelujah!" we are trying to be better people and that is what really matters. Hun, don't complicate your life with extra spiritual stuff. Live a simple life and don't let nobody to affect and separate of the love I KNOW you have felt from God. Keep your faith, embrace it and don't doubt. Everything will go away. I will pray for you ^_^

This happened to my cousin. i think my auntie said it was a leech. it's when a spirit attaches itself to you and messes with you......do some reserch on shamanism....it may help you understand but, i really don't know too much about this.....just keep your head level, work it out slowly and start keeping a journal of those things that happen to you, as well as this that happen spiritualy (like stuff in chruch) then you might be able to see triggers.

Seeing a professional will also help no doubt.

OK first this is really getting out of hand. Pray for the blood of Jesus to protect you from any evil you have allowed to come into your life. Second remember what Jesus said when he was temped 'Satan get behind me". You have to believe and know that you are NOT anyone who can be deceived by evil or troubling thoughts. Remember that Satan is a lier and he deceives us with negative thoughts. You were young as you said and you are fearful (fear is one of the major tools used by the evil) When you feel this way quote scripture and call the thought a lie. You are blessed. It will go away and you are forgiven.

I think that you were messing around with forces that you didn't understand, and the negative energy manifested and interfered with your life. You tried to give someone a cold with magic? You cast love spells? Most love spells interfere with free will and should be avoided. Haven't you heard of karma? I've heard bad things about ouija boards, but I've never used one, so I don't know about that one. I think that this comes down to the negative energy that you allowed to manifest. This is the same effect that Christians call demons, but I call it negative energy. You just need to fill your thoughts with positive energy and possibly perform a banishing ritual to get rid of it. Put the past behind you.

Well, we Wiccans don't "give people colds" and we tend to doubt the Ouija board.

This may very well be a case of you convincing yourself that you would suffer from actions - so you're sufferring.

If you still have doubts, seek out your clergy, or as others suggested, professional counciling.

You know the ouija board isnt real right? You cant open up a portal with a ouija board. People from your Christian church are thinking you have demons possessing you? Cant you see how foolish that sounds. Neither of those things are causing these problems.
I suggest a mental health professional might be able to help you - perhaps you have problems you arent aware of.
