i am getting a car for chistmas next year which is my senior year, and i really want to get a nissan xterra....i dont know much about it and was wondering if anybody has owned this car or has one now and if they like it or not....what year is the best to get because since i am paying for some of it i am getting it used =]

YES they are great cars i have an 01, 04, 05 and 07 ha ha yes i know but yeah they are great cars if u want to get one get the 05 and up ones they are much better than the other models in all ways such as power room and SAFETY. Great car so now go and get it

This is where you age will be a problem under 21 you may not be able to get a rent car while your car is in the Body Shop. Yes there are used doors and you may luck out and get one of the same color. But You really need to get your insurance involved because a home repair may not be acceptable to your finance agency. And if the door hinges are bent that door may never seal up correctly. Any good Auto Recycler will have access to the parts Hot-Line. (they not junk yards any more) and a 2005 to 2008 door should fit just fine. And please drive more safely.

Indeed they are a great ute. They're a true, body-on-frame 4x4 with a reliable drivetrain. They also have real 4-wheel-drive with low-range, which is getting more and more rare these days.
All the years are reliable. The newer ones have more powerful engines, but you can't go wrong with any of them, as long as they have been cared for.

Yeah it's a good vehicle haven't really heard of anything going seriously wrong with one yet.
