Yes, the hole in the Pentagon was somewhat smaller than the diameter of the plane.

This is explained by Professor Mere Sozen, a “Kettelhut Distinguished Professor Civil Engineering” at Perdue University. Professor Sozen says that it’s the energy of the plane, not its size, that determines the size of the hole.

The plane is not a cartoon character that punches out its outline.

Moving at 531 MPH it’s more fluid than solid, & this explains why you get the hole you got.

I know people that work in the Pentagon and you don't even know that they were upgrading and renovating the main structure in such a case that some idiot relative of yours flew a plane into it. They had finished the inner 4 or so layers and was working on the outer layer when the plane hit. That's the reason there wasn't that much damage as normal not to mention my brother (then working in DC saw the goddamn plane hit.

There goes your dumb conspiracy buuuuudy.

The plane was big enough to kill two people I knew who were on it. I went to their funeral. I'm getting really sick of you pseudo-intellectuals who were never touched by any of the events which happened on September 11, 2001. I just hope that, when you eventually die, your grave is larger than your body. Otherwise they will have to administer a pre-mortem enema and bury you in an envelope!

Probably.

But it will never figure out that a human can't create that kind of velocity and kinetic energy.
