I would like to update our kitchen cabinets. They are just flat white right now, with the ridge on the bottom to open them. I'd like to add some knobs. Also, are there places you can buy trim or molding to attach to the fronts of the cabinets to give them some dimension or would they just need to be replaced completely?

they could be painted. i've got often considered this performed on the homestead and backyard exhibits, and that they oftentimes paint them out in white and upload new hardware. while you're somewhat obtainable and artsy fartsy, you ought to upload some raised, framed panels featuring fabrics or wallpaper, etc, to the cupboard doorways. this is my expertise that cabinets may well be re-laminated, yet this may well be a job for the professional or for somebody who's experienced in homestead made projects. additionally, new doorways ought to probable be further to the triumphing cabinetry. New fronts must be further to the doorways, and this is reported as re-dealing with. maximum of those projects could be on the expensive area. From what you have stated, i think of your proper wager may well be new paint and new hardware. there are a number of of online components that might assist you. you are able to attempt google searches which contain Updating previous cabinets, Kitchen Makeovers, etc. and locate purely the assumption you're searching for. solid luck.

You can sand them a bit and re-stain them if they are wood. If not re-paint them a warm wood color of your choice. Home Depot and Loews sells wood trim strips in many sizes that you can attach to add dimension that are very inexpensive. Knobs are an easy addition.
