My 30 year old son still lives with me but he says he wants to get involved in a relationship. However, I think he is too young to start dating. What should I do?

What???? 15 or 16 is a good time to date! Who told you otherwise?Let him date! Oh, and you can't really control him anymore because he is an adult. So he can do what he wants anyway.

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR! xo EDIT: Oh, wait, I read the question. I think said "girl" should be allowed to date a bit before an arranged marriage like this. Something is not right here. Was the mother paid off? Does the girl have "issues" and this is the best her mom feels she can get? This just seems unsavory. Though, 100 years ago, such arrangements were common in the US. Sometimes the guys were much older.

i think its time to let the bird fly from the nest. (mean this in the most respectful way i can) you're son just might end up the 40 year old virgin if he doesn't get to dating soon. So, uh, yea he should date.

Are you serious, he's 30! Most men start dating at 15 or 16.

Now kids at this age are going to want to start doing all kinds of zanerific things and your best bet is to drink yourself into a deep state of denial and let things take their natural course.

that's funny.

You are probably right. Maybe he should wait a couple years before he goes out with someone. Or, you could make it a group date, you and his father, him and his girl friend. Fun for the whole family!

Well, I'm not an adult, but I could still be at help. He's old enough to support himself, meaning he's old enough to make his own decisions, such as this one. I think you should let him, it's not really up to you now, anyways. Good Luck! =D

Wow.

Please let the "kid" leave the nest. Please.

I'm really hoping you're kidding. If not...I think you might have a few more issues to get checked out.
