I have 2 little kittens. I got them yesturday. They just came up to my front porch. They stayed yesturday and last night. I wanted to keep them...now they are gone today. Do you think they'll come back? I put some canned cat food out and some milk. They've been gone since about 12 this afternoon.

They're only a few weeks maybe months old.

Unless they have another food source, they should come back. Kittens get hungry, so they'll probably come back once they do get hungry.
Also, remember, cats are curious, so they're probably just on an adventure.

When cats are in a new situation, they deal with it by hiding. They are probably still somewhere nearby (unless the mother has moved them).

They usually don't come out of hiding unless no one else is around. When one of our cats was injured, we did not see it for 3 weeks and thought it was dead. Later found that it had been hiding in the cellar and apparently coming out at night to eat from the other cats' bowls.

Your heart's in the right place, but be patient.

Cats vomit regularly. It's actually natural for them. In fact, in the wild if a cat doesn't, or can't vomit, they'll deliberately eat grass to induce vomitting.

So unless it starts happening a lot, or there's some other symptoms, I wouldn't worry just yet.

Make sure u don't leave the milk out too long! It will stink! i don't think u would want them to drink that. Make sure u dont leave the food out too long either. it will dry out. Maybe u should leave out some water. They probably went looking for their mother. Maybe their mother came and found them. U should look outside your house. maybe they are hiding somewhere.

My daughter had a kitten lacking and that they got here across it interior the duct paintings below her trailer. i do no longer think of the mummy would consume it yet, she would take the runt and to guard it attempt to locate it yet another domicile or a place the place she would be able to supply it particular interest without the others being around.

yikes!!! they're still pretty little so i would search for them, who knows maybe they went to look for their mommy.... but yes everything else you are doing sounds right. i did that with my kitten when she got out and sure enough within a couple of days she returned to get some food... good luck :)

Don't leave milk out. Cats are lactose intolerant and it may give them diarrhea...which they don't need. ANd it will go bad and you don't want them eating that either!!!

They probably have a mother someplace around.
