My one year old female bulldog at a leash free dog park proceeded to charge me and hump me and bite at my coat after she played with a bunch of dogs. She would not stop, i grabbed her collar and told her no about 5 times, she would not stop, owners and dogs fled. I was most embarrassed as i felt out of control with her. So i put her leash on and we left the park and she was not allowed to stay and play. she has never done this before. This park we went to was a different location than we normally go to. I would appreciate any feed back. Lynn

She is exhibiting dominance over you and needs additional training to understand that you are the one in charge. Enroll in obedience classes (more if you already have completed one) or work with a trainer. She is still young and it could continue to escalate in future situations. Consider it a warning sign that more problems could be ahead and get on it.

She has a severe case of over dominance. Humping is to show dominance and is not necessarily a sexual connotation.

When she does this, don't get out of control. She feeds off your state of mind. Remain calm and assertive at all times.

I would work on her dominance problem so that it does not lead to aggression.

Taking her to obedience classes will not solve her problem. You need to find a trainer who specializes in behaviours. Most obedience trainers do not deal with these issues.

If she's a year old, she's going into heat & needs to be spayed; Consult a Vet & see what you're told; then, do it. If this is put aside & ignored, it can prove fatal to you, later on,
Also, even though it's a Lease-free park, I would keep her on a Leash, anyway; to protect other people & other animals. Pets has been known to turn on their owners, too, so you really do need to consult a Vet..

Your dog does not see you as the pack leader she is showing dominance over you and saying this is mine. Take your dog to obedience classes where you can learn to be pack leader otherwise get use to this behavior.
