Nicole,
The scriptures don't foretell worldly events nor is it a history book. They only apply to what is suppose to take place within you. Externalizing the scriptures is squandering away your inheritance to the inner kingdom and doing what Yeshua condemned the Pharisees of doing. Throwing away the keys of knowledge in favor of the literal letter of the scripture. Like its given the literal letter killeth.
"Thus the tales related in the Torah are simply her outer garments, and woe to the man who regards that outer garb as the Torah itself, for such a man will be deprived of portion in the next world. Thus David said: 'Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law' (Psalms 119:18), that is to say, the things that are underneath. See now. The most visible part of a man are the clothes that he has on, and they who lack understanding, when they look at the man, are apt not to see more in him than these clothes. In reality, however, it is the body of the man that constitutes the pride of his clothes, and his soul constitutes the pride of his body"
Peace

I've always been of the opinion (Opinion) that the Anti-Christ is not a specific individual - THE individual...but more of a movement, propaganda, attitude, type of government, dictator here or dictator there...whatever or whoever is in power, in the news at that moment.
I recall reading that some people back in Napoleon's era considered him the Anti-Christ. Then, we have Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin. They all conducted themselves as Anti-Christ in some fashion and did many of the things that the Bible foretold.
But bottomline, we mere mortals do NOT know, nor should we act like we know any specifics when it comes to Revelations. It is too easily interpretable, and so many people have their slants or agendas or prejudices on what this or that means. Best to just take what people think as opinions, and leave the rest to God. God knows what He's doing. We're just bystanders when it comes to what He decides to do in the Last Days.

Maybe he has some extreme views and is perhaps bitter from his time as a revolutionary guard - he looks intense and somewhat obsessed. But he may not have much power in actual fact - the Ayatollahs may be deciding the important stuff.

I do not see him as the evil one even though he is evil. The Bible's evil one will be much worse but less discrete in how he pushes and evil and destructive strategy.

I suppose he could be, as anyone could be, really. But he has a really stupid and obvious way of going about it, though, don't you think?
Mahmoud is so dumb he probably reads the number of the beast as 999.

No. The Djjal has one eye and hasn't risen yet. There are still a lot of prophecies that need to pass before the Djjal and Prophet Isa(PBUH*) appear. The Djjal is the Jewish Messiah and will rule from the false nation of Israel.
