If you want to take charge, you WILL have to ask your bf for support, and if you can, other friends of yours. Get a job, you'll need it to support yourself.
My advice is you bear with your parents (sorry, I know it's not a preferable option for you) for a year more or so, or after you've gotten a job and saved up a bit. Ask your bf to do so too, so the both of you can support each other. That's the safest way of saving money without killing yourself over work. Sorry, but there's no fast, easy way out of this one.

At your age no body wants to live at home anymore. You want out, try to bare it with your parents you'll finish school get a job and move out. That's the right thing to do. It's hard to take charge when there is no choice in the matter. It's your parents home and they make the rules and pay the bills. It's just the way it is.

Well it sounds like you need to go get a job, get your own place, and find out how hard life is. Until you move out of your parents house, then you must follow their rules. I know you are of age, and should be able to do what you want, but not when someone else is footing the bill. When you pay your own way, then do what you want. You'll find out the cupboards won't have as much food in them as your parents.

You can be a full time student and get a job. That's really your first step towards taking charge - which also means taking care of yourself. You'll be busy but you'll respect yourself. Good luck!
