I have a stock 240sx. I was gonna go sr20det but that was a lil too much for my pockets. Iooking sumwhere in the price range of 2-3000. Im looking for about 250-325whp. Any help?

Save money, buy LS1, put LS1 in 240SX. Instant 300 whp, with stupid modding potential. ford 5.0 motors are common too.

dumping money into a motor not designed for what you want it to do isnt a good idea. Itll usually end up costing way more in the long run, and give worse results.

depending on the milage of the KA engine you can build that up to take 300bhp. I had a 95 240 with a KA24 it had 120,000 miles on it and could still handle a 50shot of happy gas. You can buy a sr20de without the turbo for far cheaper then you can the DET. make SURE you add the DE since they make an sr20 for the sentra.

DE means rear wheel transmission. FYI
