Whether killing is wrong depends upon who is being killed: as with anything, it is far too broad of a generalization to say that "it" is in it's entirety evil or wrong. I would suggest there is a radical difference between killing a homicidal pedophile caught in the act and killing a fellow who cuts you off on the highway.

There are moral absolutes. There is a 'right' and a 'wrong'. There is a 'good' and a 'bad'. Once you embrace these, you'll know what is evil and what is not.

There are consequences to everything we do. If you do it right then you will be blessed. If you do it wrong then you will be cursed. Evil is what causes you to do wrong.

There is no sin so large that God is not willing, and able, to forgive us of it when we truly turn to Him in repentance, desiring His forgiveness.

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
