I'm hoping someone out here can tell me what drug this is in reference to. Basically I'm trying to find out exactly what type of drug was found in someone's system if this code is assigned to the case.

Refers to being under the influence, any dangerous drug/controlled substance.

That could include cocaine, morphine, steroids, oxycodone, etc.

The statistics for drug addiction (at least in women) is in the 80% who have been domestically or sexually abused become some type of addict to mask the pain. I am not saying they should be allowed to be criminals by no means but should get one chance to rehab in order to change their lives around. The first mistake in a recovering is that they get clean but do not go back to fix the problem that got them started using in the first place. Without that they will fail.

It is actually California Health and Safety Code (HS) 11550, I have copied the complete list as is recorded in law currently. Narcotics of Level II and III are not listed but are much more severe (obviously) than those that are listed and considered level I. You can check and read the code books yourself at http://www.leginfo.ca.gov
