Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver as Wayne and Dahlia Malloy in "The Riches". I was born in the UK where I live and think the accents are bloody awful!!!!

I do however love James Marsters "cockney" accent as Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and was surprised when I found out he was not English.

I can't find any accents believable in movies/television when I know that the actor doesn't speak that way. It seems that when they try to pass off an American accent, they think that "southern" is the way they all try to talk.

I really get annoyed when an actor/actress that is really southern born and bred end up with a "fake" sounding accent in movies.

The only one I haven't seen "fake" it is Jamie Pressley in My Name is Earl. She does make it more prominent, but it doesn't sound as fake as most.

I agree about "Spike." I had this look of shock when I saw him in a different show and I'm like "wait...where's his accent?"
