DOE is an acronym that stands for Depending On Experience. That means that when a company offers you a position and the salary says DOE, that means that the pay scale and the amount you will get paid all depends on how much experience you have in a particular field.

DOE could also mean "Date of Employment" which is usually the same as your hire date.
