You are now an agnosticist! You realise that you have no reasons to believe in one or another religion. Usually people tend to believe in something bigger than them, so they can pray to it, and believe in it.
I know it's not easy...
Believe me, if you start believing in something much more powerfull than you, ll be a believer, and all this stress you carry on your shoulders will not be so heavy!

Religion is determined by choice or upbringing. It is not something you can test for like your genes.
Right now I would say your religions is "Confusianismus" (pun, pun!) because you are confused about basically every concept you touch on.
OK, let's start with something simple: NOBODY KNOWS if there is a god. Religions do not require you to know that, they only require you to have faith in their dogmata.
So you want to be a Catholic? Easy enough. Go read this and swear that you will believe in ever single point in the fine print:
http://www.vatican.va/archive/ccc/index.htm
OK, OK, here is the short version since you want to join fast, right?
http://www.creeds.net/ancient/nicene.htm
Actually, I think even the Protestants buy into this one, so this all by itself is not enough.
You also need some of these guys:
http://www.catholictradition.org/Tradition/creeds.htm
Had enough of Catholicism?
Why no try the religion of "Televangelism" instead? I think the creed there must go something like this:
"We believe in the power of televised preaching
And that Little Jesus will wash away all our sins
No matter how hypocritical we are
As long as we keep sending the money
So the Preachers can live in mansions
And we elect Gerorge W Bush to president for life"
Just kidding... but you see where I am going?
Religion can be anything. It can be 2000 year old nonsense
or 20 year old nonsense, as long as YOU sign up to it, they will take you.
One can make similar arguments for pretty much any organized religions and the disorganized ones are even better... they will not only take your money but also brainwash you so they can make you commit suicide before the FBI agents kick in the door.
But if you are really smart, you make your own, give it a fancy name, collect the money for your mansions and make sure that you always keep the FBI happy.
:-)
There is, of course, another alternative: you forget about religion completely and live a happy life with your family. Because this life is all you will ever have. If you don't make it work yourself, nobody will make it work for you and you will not get a do-over, either. OK?

Saying you don't know if there is a god places you in the category agnostic, although they usually add that they don't believe it is possible to know.
Otherwise, I'd call you an atheist, because you say "if there is, I don't like him that much." What you are responding to is the concept that one should worship a god who did all those mean things in the Bible, and who allows or causes nasty things to happen today, even to people who clearly do not deserve it.
What I would recommend is that you do some reading broadly about various religions and spiritual beliefs and practices, and try to keep as open a mind as you can. I have included one link below that shows my bias, but which may get you started.

Have you ever read anything about Buddhism? It is a very humanistic religion, and it is all about love and peace and kindness, and sending good thoughts out to others. You should look up some information about it. I like the fact that they believe in karma, which is something I really believe in. I see karma every day. (Good brings good, bad brings bad.) By the way, this is not a cult. It has been around a very long time.

I to am very confused about religion. not sure if it's the over commercialization or all the hypocrites. I've tried many and can't find my place in any. I know i have a strong connection with the Divine. But I'd love to find others that feel the same. So let me know how it goes.

I was going to suggest something, but your second answerer, JD, beat me to it.
Definitely go for that quiz, you'll be amazed at what you get. Don't just accept the top one, though. I found my religion in the top 5 results, but didn't relate to the top one. Read up, and go with what suits you yourself. If there's more than one that appeals to you, well, I can't really offer an answer to that. I integrated and mingled parts of the four top (not the top one I didn't relate to).
There's a high likelihood that there is a single religion out there that describes you, but it is a higher likelihood that suggests multi-faith. At the end of the day, there is only one person who can decide what suits you best.
((((hugs))))
May peace go with you throughout your life

Sounds like you're an agnostic.
You can be religious and not believe in God - Buddhism is like this. The series of books The Complete Idiot's Guide to Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism, Catholicism etc. are well worth reading.

Take a look at different books on religion. It will take a lot of searching. If you still don't believe in God you're an atheist. If you believe but can't find a religion that suits your personal beliefs you're an agnostic.

I would not be too concerned about subscribing to a specific religion. It is better to look within yourself for the truth than to follow a book or other people.
Are you familiar with the term "gnosticism." This is what I am...a gnostic. See what you think about this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UPG

Sound agnostic to me ....
Agnostics claim either that it is not possible to have absolute or certain knowledge of the existence or nonexistence of God or gods; or, alternatively, that while individual certainty may be possible, they personally have no knowledge. Agnosticism in both cases involves some form of skepticism.
