It is very hot and humid in the summer
A lot of places have very cold, arctic chill air-conditioning, so you still need a jacket in the summer. Honestly, I think that's how they get people to come into their stores in the summertime lol
The escalators on the MTR (Mass Transit Railway) move very fast
They drive on the left.
The streets are designed like London's, and the street signs are written in the same font as London's plus Chinese characters.
They use the same double-decker buses that they use in London.
When you order food in English, they tend to ask you, "Stay here, or to go?" instead of "for here" or "dine in"
Hong Kong is not a tipping culture. They charge a 10% service charge, and that's usually enough.
Just about all signs are written in English and Chinese, with Japanese being seen occasionally.
With the Octopus card that you use to ride the bus and MTR, you can also buy things at 7-11, MacDonald's and other places.
Hong Kong Starbucks has this really delicious chicken and mushroom pie, which I miss very much.
Generally, people speak at least a little bit of English. If you run into someone who doesn't, you can easily find someone who does.
The population is about 97% Chinese
When you are done eating at a fast food restaurant, you leave your tray on the table, and the empolyees take it away for you.
1 Hong Kong dollar is worth about 8 U.S. Dollars, but dollar for dollar purchasing power in Hong Kong is not the same as it is in the U.S.
8 is a very lucky number for the Chinese, so you will often see prices listed as $HK 38, $HK 188, $HK 288 and so on
Just trying to give you more obscure facts lol

Well, I'm not an "expert"; I have went to Hong Kong once last April, though...
OK, so I'll try the best I can:
1) Hong Kong's official languages are English and Chinese. Cantonese is the "de facto" language, but the usage of Mandarin is increasing. In the MTR and KCR (the Hong Kong Subways), announcements are done in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Traditional Chinese characters are predominantly used.
2) You can find the largest outdoor seated Buddha in Hong Kong. It's the Tian Tan Buddha in Lantau Island.
3) The tallest building in Hong Kong is the 2 International Finance Center in Central. I think it's about 480 meters (not sure, though)
4) The largest district in Hong Kong is the Islands District, which includes Lantau Island and other small islands like Cheung Chau and Lamma Island. However, it is also the least dense district, with only about 90,000 people living there.
5) The Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has been voted the BEST AIRPORT IN THE WORLD by Skytrax for 6 times (2001-2005, 2007)
There you go! Honestly all of the information I gave you was 100% from me! :)

2) The current Chief Executive of HK is Mr Donald Tsang. Under the "one country, two systems" policy, Mr Tsang is the No. 1 man in HK reporting to the Beijing Central government in Beijing, China.
3) Hong Kong is connected to Shenzhen, China by the Kowloon West Railway (KCR) train.
4) Hong Kong has a disneyland. HK Disneyland is located at Lantau Island and is easily assessible by Mass Transit Rapid (MTR).
5) The 3 main areas of Hong Kong are Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Terrorities. Hong Kong also has outlying islands like Lantau Isalnd, Lamma Island, Tai-O, Cheung Chau and etc.
