If they weren't then it doesn't correspond to what we know about human origins on Earth, blacks came first, then white then asian. If Adam and Eve weren't black then maybe they weren't first either.

Religions teach that the Garden of Eden was somewhere in the Middle East, somewhere between the Tigress and Euphrates (sp?) rivers....nonsense! Modern man and his relatives arose in Africa, and had to have been black (brown, whatever). As Homo Sapiens spread north and out of Africa, the farther north they went, the more pigmentation they lost, as melanin was no longer needed to protect against a very bright sun. Take a look at Man as he exists now...Southern Africans are black, as you leave Africa and spread into the Middle East, skin color is much lighter, but still brownish..go north into Europe and you begin to see less and less pigmentation...up to Sweden, where you have white skin and blond hair...all through adaptive mutations. "Adam and Eve" are used as a simple example of man, not meant, nor could it be meant to be real. They are symbolic, not literal. Mitochondrial RNA and DNA show that Homo Sapiens arose all from the same ancestor, and that RNA and DNA can be traced back to Africa. Tracing Mitochondrial DNA and RNA can only be done on the mother's side, not the father's. Therefore, Adam has to be a descendent of Eve, not a mate! The "Eve" we learn about was a mutation, most probably from Homo Erectus or Homo Neandratalensis. .... Mutations are always very small, from generation to generation..not one giant step. Giant steps almost always result in a dead fetus, not a new life form. AND, even with tiny mutations, 95% of them are lethal to the fetus, so it can only be done over periods of hundreds, if not thousands of years. The speicies, Homo evolved over a long period of time, and previous "editions" were probably absorbed into the product. Take a close look at today's people...every so often, the genes for Neandratal pop up in a few people, and the genes of Erectus show up here and there....Sapiens probably killed off many of these people, for that is what societies do to each other...always getting rid of "other," replacing them with "self." This is a very sad statement about mankind, but it seems to be true. Peace and Love, Goldwing
And by the way, evidence points in the direction that Sapiens was not greatly more intelligent than Neandrathalensis....just a little less boney, more upright, perhaps greater use of the thumb...but intelligence...not really. The genus, Homo Sapiens has improved more in the last 100 years intelligence wise, most probably due to better nutrition. And please, do not be suckered into the bible stuff as so many have....it defies intelligence to believe that we are the only beings created...God may have created us, but he took his time doing it...and from all appearances, it is still a work in progress. AS for being cursed, Bull crap...that is just insulting to the world, and many people in it. That some religions can teach this crap with a straight face staggers the imagination!

No human came from an ape. Genesis 1:24-26. God will tell you that every thing and every animal, including the ape came from their own kind. In scripture (26). God said that He made to man and woman (after their own kind...humans.) Yes, they were black. So was Samson, so was John the Baptist and so was Jesus: In the town of Galilee, was a city called Nazareth. Mary and Joseph raised Jesus there as a Nazarene: meaning one that was consecrated to God. Samson was a Nazarene: Judges 16:17. John the Baptist was a Nazarene: Luke 1: 13, 15. The Nazarite was to never cut the hair on their head. They grew “locks.” What we call today dreadlocks. \Read and study the law of the Nazarite. For the man or woman who set his/her self apart for God. Numbers Chapter 6. In Samson, his strength came from his hair. His hair thick dreads. Believe it or not, Jesus had the same ‘locks. 2 Timothy 2:15. This why it is so imporatant to study for God's approval. Study, you will find truth. Jesus said, He is the truth.

The first humans were indeed black, and of African origin. You'll find the more open-minded believers will conveniently turn the Adam and Eve story into an allegory to accommodate this fact.
The fundamentalists will simply call it lies.
Religion. Don't you just love it?

No! It HAS NOT been proven that people came from Africa, unless you also belive in Darwin, and the Teletubbies.
Look at the Hebrew word for "man". Among other things, it means to show blood in the face. The Israelites are direct descendants of the Adamic race and they are caucasian. They be white folk!

Dear friend,
I do not know the colour of their skin.It has not been proven that people originated in Africa.Adam and Eve were created the same day and they were very inteligent.Where the garden of Eden was we do not know exactly.Probably the vicinity of Iraque. They were the only people created and all their descendants except for Noah's family perished during the worldwide flood.

They may or may not have been black. You can't exactly just believe that "it's been proven that first people came from Africa." Sure, there IS scientific evidence and all. Personally, however, I believe Eden was NOT on Earth, because two angels are supposed to be gaurding it, and no one's spotted angels gaurding a piece of beautiful land. I also am more inclined to think that Adam and Eve were white because skin color is because of genes AND the area of where you live, and therefore, if Eden was not on Earth, I don't think the sun would really have affected Adam and Eve's skin...

They were probably a combination of all different people on earth. But since they lived in Africa/Middle East, there is a good chance that their skin was darker or tanned, but I doubt that they were purely black in terms of hair texture or facial features.

Adam and Eve were white, and you can't prove that the garden of Eden was in Africa. Cain was cursed after killing Abel with a mark on his skin, that's where blacks came from. And the line continued because one of Noah's sons had married a black woman. They couldn't have been Jewish because Jews didn't exist then. Jews come from the line of Judah, one of the sons of Israel (Jacob).

Adam and Eve would probably be described today as biracial but there is no conclusive evidence to prove what they looked like. As for Jesus, because he was from the middle east you should all be able to figure out that he was not white nor black but probably a combination of several races.
