Get a coccyx pillow, not a donut, there's a difference in the style, a donut will still have pressure on the tailbone. Also besides at work, try to stay off it as much as possible. Tylenol or other ibuprofen can help some, but a tailbone injury hurts worse than a broken arm sometimes. I too had fallen on mine (over 12 years ago though, couldn't walk for 2 weeks at the time), and just this week actually had to have surgery for a cyst that got aggravated all those years ago and started causing lots of pain. Now i get to lay on my stomach for a week, but at least I get pain meds this time around! Good Luck, I feel your pain!

ooo that hurts !! You can get a "dougnut" from any medical store or maybe even somewhere like Wal Mart. This is about the only thing you can do, other than switching from cheek to cheek. Trying to keep the weight off the coccyx bone is really hard to do. Good luck

Yeah, those donut pillows will help, along with a painkiller. Should have that checked by a doctor, just in case it isn't fractured. Been there done that as a kid and can't sit for very long periods of time ever since.
