Is it ok to eat that stuff? Is that fat? Please Clarify.

Is that the Omega 3 fatty acids? I thought it was inside the salmon fish itself..

assuming you mean the white goo after you've cooked it .. it is edible but un-attractive so wipe it off .. it's a mixture of fat and protein .. sorry it's not omega 3 fat .. just adulterated fish fat .. usually from a fish that is close too or just out of 'season'

It shouldnt have any white stuff on it! The Omega Fats are in the fish itself.

it's the healthiest thing in a salmon, it's got the most vitamins and it's got plenty of omega 3.
Don't throught it away, it tastes of salmon itself so there will be no point in throwing it away.

Don't understand. Do you want the fat clarified or the question ? Can you be sure someone didn't cover it with Hollandaise sauce when you weren't looking ? Eat up and enjoy !

as a fisherman i can say you are talking about the FAT or the shrine if its pure white its fat if its a silvery white its the proteins from the fat meat mixture and it is good for you. this is called the shrine

Ewww, I know, it just looks icky. Fish are so reptilian that I find them difficult to eat.
