got_air, so you're saying that the Bible has "good true stuff" in it... and that's what validates your faith in Yahweh and Jesus Christ?

Daily "experiences" with God are just your feelings... and remember, that doesn't count as an answer to this question.
And... what, pray tell, is the "Holy Spirit" doing for you?

This avatar is basically just a strange computer generated fractal drawing with orange in the middle and dark blue spiraling outward. I found it on the deviantART website.

first and foremost, i have no religious convictions.
a person's faith validates Christian conviction.
faith is an intangible, you can't feel touch or smell it, which is discerned by the Lord God Almighty. when he walked the earth among humanity, he committed countless healings among the masses who gravitated to him. in this process, it is written that he declared "by your faith, you are healed".
it is also documented that a woman chased after him with dire hopes of being healed by him. in desperation, she resigned herself to thinking that "if i can but touch his robe, i will be healed". she succeeded. instantly, Jesus stopped to ask "who touched me?" those around him replied, "why, we are all so close, we all have touched you. to which he elaborated that he felt the woman's faith. when she came forward, he, again, iterated that by her faith, she was healed.
many people who frequent the church, falsely claim that they have the faith necessary to be a Christian. we have only to believe them but God knows their secret.
more or less, you answered your own question by addressing the "faithful".

THE ONLY thing that can validify a person's beliefs IS feelings, but that is an understatement, the feelings are not exactly something you feel all the time, or even rarely for a lot of people, it all has to do with the holy ghost testifying to you, you will understand if you ever put yourself in the situation where you can feel this, and don't mock me for saying this... but i have felt it, and i can't describe it, but joy and happiness are deffinent descritive words of how you feel, but the feeling itself, is amazing, better than any "high" you could get in any way, if anyone wants more information about what i am talking about email me at freedomfighter018@yahoo.com

There are common threads of truth that run through out the bible. As I continue to study it, they become more and more clear.
edit: Clearly there is both good and bad in the bible. The challenge is to understand how this could possibly relate to a God who claims to love His children. I would not be so bold as to say that I can explain it all. What I have found however is that the more I study, the more I understand and the more the claim that God is a God of love becomes true.

Daily experiences with God
Adding to this about gut feelings. You are asking for a level of proof that does not even exist for existence of the physical realm - for example what we experience as the physical world is indistinguishable from a simulation on a massive quantum computer (look at the movie "Matrix"). My experience of God is no less real than my everyday experience of anything in the physical realm it is not just emotional feeling.

properly Islam extremely isnt in common terms a faith. it extremely is a existence-form, each thing you may think of of. And so a ways as attempting to transform human beings, there is not any forcing in Islam. Our objective is to easily coach others what genuine Islam is, then you certainly've a call whether to have faith or not. And NO Islam doesnt enable any act of terrorism or violence. it extremely is an exceedingly modest way of existence.

There is no objective evidence. That's why they always validate their belief with their "unconditional love" and their "gut feeling", which is exactly what you asked for them not to do. But otherwise, it's impossible to justify it. Take David B for example.
Yes, please finally tell us what your avatar is. I like this one better than the moon. But I have no clue what the hell it is.

I always had the certitude that someone or something is constantly organizing my life. Some things simply match too good to be coincidences.

You can clearly see by those " believers" who answered here, that it really is a delusion.
They are not driven by what IS true, but rather by what they WANT to be true.
If one WANTS to believe that the mosquito that landed on his arm is really a 747jet, then there's not much we can do except make room for the aircraft maintenance crew.
