Does anyone know where I can find the details about this program? Have a 83 truck looking to move up into a newer vehicle.

They had a $2500.00 tax incentive if you bought a new hybrid but it expired over a year ago.

Never heard for the $5K deal. In California, to remove smog producing vehicles they'll pay whole sale value up to $800 (max) to get a polluter off the streets.
I'm thinking if CA is only willing to pay $800 (max), I doubt the federal government would shell out $5K
