There are also less easily identified diseases which are closely related such as technophobia, sciencephobia and educationphobia. It would be this century's greatest achievment if we could rid society of these atrocious diseases. Do you care about your childrens future?

In a way I suppose I already have. I put together a compilation of scientific evidence, debates and lectures, and biblical contradictions (if not in word at least in spirit.)
I reproduce this information as a CD and give it away freely to debilitated evolutionophobes and scienceophobes. I have also attended the CFI http://www.centerforinquiry.net/ and donate to secular projects for eliminating ignorance and mythology. Ending these mental diseases starts with self education and proceeds with taking that gained knowledge to others. By the way, you're doing a great job.
Thanks

I have no children, but I pay taxes to support public education. That's all I can do.

Then again, we've been doing that for a couple of centuries now and we're not getting any smarter. Looks like we need a new idea....

Sadly, I fear these conditions can never be eradicated, only (hopefully!) controlled: improvements are needed at all levels of general education, so that intelligent children can disavow themselves of the conditioned evolutionophobia imposed on them by lazy parents, lazy governments, and really lazy churches...

Some dimbulb on the radio today was twittering on about a recent poll that showed most kids could name more of the Seven Dwarves than they could of the Ten Commandments...

So maybe we ARE making progress, there's hope yet! LOL!

That seems to be what a majority of the religious fanaticos are suffering from. I will donate to the cause.

Unfortunately there is no help for those poor people, they are like drug abusers they will only seek help when they see they have a problem.
