Passion of the Christ. That'll show you. It's the closest the events in the bible have ever come to actually happening.

The events of Jesus life were set down as psychological metaphor for transcending the conditioned identity. Judas the betrayer is a part of one's own ego that will be tempted by survival/remuneration to betray your true nature and purpose. Judas also represents the 'projected' external betrayer relationship, necessary for fulfillment of one's destiny. Disinterest/detachment from others is the end of the journey back to being and unity consciousness.

He got it after they took Jesus away. The disciples were sad for a bit but then Judas said, "Hey guys I've got mad money burning a hole in my pocket, let's go to the Olive Garden!"

So they all went and had a great time. That was the last time the disciples ever saw Jeebus again.

I think Judas took the money before they captured Jesus.

14Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests 15and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins. 16From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over."

Read the Gospel of Judas from the Nag Hammadi Library collection for a much different version of that story!

He didn't just do it one time, he was doing it constantly. Betraying Jesus. I think it symbolized those who turn away from Christ.
