what about the unconditional love of a parent for a child? God does not have the market on conditional love my friend.

Because while God is everywhere, he is not tangible unless his spirit is in other people. Man was not destined to be alone, Genesis teaches us that. God created a woman as a companion for the man. The love that comes with companionship cannot compare to the love with receive from the Almighty.

your wrong. God does provide unconditional love. especially whenever we do wrong he still loves us.and we marry because we look for someone special in our lifes.

Jesus never did, but we are not on the same spiritual level. Until we reach that level we probably will need a significant other in our life.

So that we can have children. God in His wisdom knew that marriage was the best situation to have children in. It is also the securest, stablest situation to "come together" in. And there are legal benefits attached to marriage also.
