I guess I am more afraid of how I will die rather than dying itself. It will eventually happen to all of us I just hope and pray it is later than sooner. I would like to be remembered for my love of animals and for being a good person.

Afraid? If you mean do I have a morbid fear of dying, then the answer is No. Of course I want to live as long as possible, there are so many wonderful things in life (even a bad life is better than no life at all).

I think it's mainly because of what I have learned from the Bible. Death does not open the door to another world. There is no burning fire waiting for anyone anywhere. I have the hope of living forever on a Paradise earth, so if I do die before the end of this system of things, I'll just be in a state of deep sleep until Jehovah chooses to resurrect me. (Eccl. 9:5,6)

So I'd just close my eyes, and the next time I'd open them, I'd be in Paradise. The time in between would have passed by just like a second!

That knowledge is so faith-strengthening, because it gives me the strength to be faithful to God till death no matter what, because God's enemies can only do so much to me, and no more!

Death isn't bad it happens and no I was in a wreck once and the Doctor said may only live for a weak.
My organs where so bruised inside (stomach area)
I couldn't eat for a while. Anyways I made it and at first I Just wanted someone by me I didn't want to be alone. The hospital sent a NUN to pray for me and from there I looked at life differently. But as for someone I wouldn't care what people think just as long as the lord accepts me.

I am terrified of dying. I have thought about it since I have had bad health and getting older.....and I am more afraid of the unknown. I have a personality that likes to be in control of myself and that is what scares me the most is not knowing what is going to happen......I also hate the fack of losing my relationship with my husband. We have been married a long time and I feel like he is my soulmate. Yes, real love exists. I would like to be know as a mentor to people. One someone could depend on...a good wife and a good mother and a good friend.

Afraid, no. Want it to happen soon, no.
I am an atheist that knows that there is no afterlife. I know that when I die, that is it. I don't really care about how I am remembered, as long as I had a positive influence on those that love me.

No, b/c it means I'm going to see Christ soon.

To be remembered: as a person who fed the hungry, saved the animals, and made a difference in human/animal rights.

Yeah, I am afraid of dying. It is not something that is constantly on my mind, and I do not devote a lot of time thinking about it. I realize it for what it is.. I also oppose it at every opportunity :)

Why waste time being afraid of something that is inevitable? That's like being afraid of the sun rising. People need to grow up and live life now and stop this sick fixation on death. I don't care how I'm remembered, because I'll be dead and it won't affect me anyway.

No, I'm not afraid of death. Not that I intend to seek it out or anything. I just don't see what is necessary to fear about something that will happen.
