I am always checking guys out but they never seem to notice...
Plus a ton of guys like me and tell me I'm beautiful and things like that, but I never notice any of them staring at me or checking me out...why is that?

It definitely depends on the guy, as you can see from the answers here.

It seems to me like there are several types of guys in this regard.

1. The guy who thinks he's super hot and assumes all girls are checking him out all the time (may or may not be hot).

2. The guy who never thinks anyone is checking him out. (mostly likely inexperienced/shy/low self esteem)

3. The guy who knows that girls check him out, but doesn't assume all of them do. This guy looks for signs you're checking him out but is willing to approach even if you're not.

Depending on which one of the three he is, he'll either not care, not notice, or being looking carefully but act cool if he does notice. The guys complimenting you are typically types 1 and 3.

Or, you could just be really unobservant and

Andre is very, very right, I´m afraid. If you really want to get in touch, especially with some guys, you need to be a bit more pushy... ;)

Plus, be happy if you don´t notice guys staring at you - they often try not to check you out in a way that makes you notice if they don´t intend to ask you out the same moment... that doesn´t mean they don´t. Cause let me tell you, they do.

Guys aren't just clueless. They're gun-shy. Stare at a girl, and you're likely to get yelled at, and perhaps even arrested.

If it appears a girl is checking out a guy, he wonders what's wrong with him, and why she's laughing at him.

The next time a guy tells you that you're beautiful, ask them why he's never tried to get into your pants, why he's never even tried to take you out on a date.

If it were entirely up to men, the human race would die out in three generations. You have to let the guy know that you'd welcome his attentions.

I believe a guy could tell when they're being check out, just like a female can. But if they're not looking back . You not getting any play at all. Good luck though.

If you are being obvious, or if the guy is observant and understanding of the doings, mannerisms, and body-language of females, yes we can. Us guys are just a bit more comfortable with being somewhat obvious, (Credit that to enculturation) but we USUALLY don't just stare with our toungs lolling out of a slack-jawed face, a'la the old cartoons. If you aren't noticing what's going on, then you just don't know what to look for.
