How do I get a full page of type instead of the 3/4 page that I get when I copy and paste jokes - documents into MS Word? The format is different from regular MS Word documents. Most items take two pages or so but with patient backspace -space -home - backspace, I can shrink it back to an original one page all the while keeping the font the same. I have tried formatting paragraph - document etc. to no avail. It is almost like the creator hit return too early, help!

If you copied the text from a web page Word keeps the html formatting, which doesn't always work in a Word doc.

Instead of just pasting the text into Word, paste it as unformatted text. That drops the format from the web page and uses whatever formatting is already in place in the document.

In Word, Edit..Paste Special, choose Unformatted Text, click OK. (The list of available formats varies depending on what's in the clipboard.)
