If we lose in Iraq, it is the fault of the American people. In WW II we destroyed the Japanese Empire, the Third Reich, and all their proxys in a global conflict, but now the traitors in the Democrat party say we cannot destroy a ragtag group of bums in some 3rd world backwater state? We could sweep through the entire Middle East and leave a trail of death and destruction in our wake if we had the will to. But Americans are soft and week now: The effeminization of the American male by the lest. It is our own fault we are losing, and the fault of the spineless godless leftists all the way from Pelosi to the scumbags in the Univerities. I just can't fathom how traitorous and cowardly so many Americans have become. I can understand the French being that way - they couldn't win a war if they had to. But how did WE get this way?

Such bigotry...You should take a look at what happened to the US in Vietnam. It's a bit of a similar war in which the US follows some rules of engagement and the enemy follows none. A mercenary fighting on his home turf with nothing but a slingshot is a lot more determined (and indeed better equipped) than the fully equipped soldier who hardly knows where to turn.

Please explain in detail how America destroyed the Third Reich are you claiming victory for this? yes you played your part but destroy you are way of the mark and very arrogant.
Do you know anything about history?? the French have won more wars than America ever has.
The so called war in Iraq is not a war, it has never been a war, maybe you should get off your fat butt and do something about it if you are that concerned or maybe you are just another loser sitting behind your PC thinking you know all, but suppose i will get the last laugh when you get drafted to go to war with Iran put you in the front line with your gun, you wont last a day, all for what to protect who exactly, you will be safe in your lonesome bedroom until you die, there ain't no Iranians going to be coming to American to slaughter your civilization.

Well that gives the rest of us a perfect inside view of your true goals. You think that this war is more important to win than more important things at stake. You're telling us that we should stay in this war to win, not to stay because it's the right thing to do.

World War II and the conflict in Iraq today are two different wars. After Hitler was captured and Japan was demolished we declared victory and helped them re-build. The citizens willingly agreed to our victory and the countries were re-built. We have captured the Hitler like leader of Iraq and we are trying to re-build the country, but the citizens do not agree to our proposal. They want us out. Who do you think we are fighting over there?

WE won years ago when Saddam's regime was toppled.
The current war IS NOT OURS TO WIN. Its a war between Iraqis for their own country. We are just peace-keeping between rival factions (policing). WE are now caught up IN SOMEONE ELSE'S WAR and are being played by all sides.
