If we don't stand up for Jesus, Jesus won't stand up for us.

It sure sounded like a phony one to the core!
I can't believe that anybody would do something so stupid...!!! It is so embarrassing even for Jesus...!!! If the Supreme Court building would have gone on fire soon after the prayer I would have raised an eyebrow. I know pay day is not yet... they say... Obviously nobody prayed with any size of faith because nothing was accomplished that I am aware.

According to Snopes.com it is true.
It is a shame that such a short sighted and bigoted person can get to become a school principal.
Although the text of the Principal's diatribe has been confirmed, I doubt that the crowd's reaction would have been quite as unanimous as claimed.

It's a story. It never happened. You can look it up yourself if you don't believe me.
If it DID happen however, it's amazing that a school principle has somehow missed the part of the constitution that discusses the separation of church and state...
P.S. Wow, I guess it really DID happen. Lucky for that principle I'm not the superintendent of schools or he'd be looking for a new job. He's supposed to educate, not indoctrinate.

Yeah, it happened.

The principal both explained her position and made her opinion clear. Her statement was likely gratifying to a great many believers there. But because she was the principal, she no doubt intimidated many of those in attendance to adopt a "prayerful" attitude to avoid trouble. It was a stunt, calculated to fall short of literal civil disobedience, while violating the spirit of the U.S. Constitution, and make a show of religiosity.

I find the writer to be an ugly person with little to no sense of morality. Freedom of Religion is freedom from religion. Imposing any faux morality, apart from the law on any persons is fundamentally wrong and backward.

Just another way of guilting people into religion. Do you really want to draw attention to the fact that Christianity is so judgemental that it would rather use guilt as opposed to love to draw attention to it?
One word. Disgusting.

I received that in an email. I doubt that it actually happened, but what it says is true and I hope a principal will say those words one day.
God Bless.

Very inspiring! In spite of all opposition, trials, sufferings, we should remain steadfast and praise Him!
May God continue to bless all the people who remain in Him!
