Typically, for most people it takes 12 hours for food to become feces in the colon. It varies of course. This is just an average time.

It should take no longer than 10-14 hours. Otherwise you are at risk of colon cancer and other diseases. In severe cases the time may be as much as 48 to 96 hours. This can be extremely detrimental to a persons health.

It depends on one's digestive tract. Some people can go as soon as they finish a meal {within 30 min to an hr} and others, it takes days.
If you're one of those who can eliminate fast.....good for you, it helps to keep the colon clean which is very good for your health.
