Good next step, to see where you stand... Ask him if he's doing anything on a given night. If he says "no" ask if you could do something together. If you get an "OK", as seems likely, then tell him "OK set something up & let me know what we're doing". That puts the ball for what, where etc firmly in his court, it makes him think about what is going on & allows him to show you how to "have a good time". At the end of the evening (or whatever) tell you'd like to go out again & tell him you'll let him decide the when, where etc. If you make him responsible for a few things him may losen up enough to make your question academic.

In my previous relationships I've had to do all the initiating. I think you should have an honest talk. Ask him if he'd like to be in an exclusive relationship. You might as well come out and say what you think, because men tend to need to be bonked over the head before they get what you're saying.

I don't know...but take me for example..I am attractive and a great guy. I am fun, entertaining, etc.
Unfortunately, I am shy. I am 20 years old, and I have NEVER gone out. Yet I would be a great boyfriend. Imagine if a girl asked me out what a great thing it would be for her and for me...but because no one has ever asked me out, unfortunately I have never experienced the beauty of a relationship and missed out on something great.
so if you ask the man out, he may be a golden egg, especially if he's shy. So why not. At least he probably still has a chance of being saved. Its too late for me.

Yeh its cool enough, BUT he sounds awfully limp wristed.
That Marsin looks like he be the perfect man for him...
Just be upfront with the dude...does he carry a handbag?
Who knows maybe you intimidate him with your smashing good looks..Men are a strange breed. But seriously how assertive can he be if he can't ask you out?

I'd love women to ask me out, because I'm too shy.
