bestonnet made a good response on ithinkiate's question. He/she basically said, what does it matter if the colonial Americans aren't alive today? Wouldn't the same defense count for the Turks? You, me, and the rest of the Yahoo Turkey community was never alive when the "supposed" genocide occured, so why should we have to discuss this issue if the US can't even discuss their issues?

This just proves the hypocrisy of some western (US, France etc.) politicians. Let them do whatever they can. What do they think they will gain even if (IF) Turkey accepted their baseless claims? Our planet is dying because of their thoughtless actions but all they care about is blaming others. They should instead spend their billions (which is not so clean) on making this world a better place for all to live. But no, they try to turn people's eyes to the past while they keep exploiting other countries' resources.

Good question... Starred already...

We should discuss, and we should explain like Armenians do... The only reason Armenian genocide issue has reached todays position is they (Armenian) did what we didnt until now and still discussing to do or not...

Turkey has no land to give anybody... If anybody intended to take, they should kill 70 million.

I don't think it matters if the original perpetrators are alive. Do you?
