We are going to be adding an African Grey to our flock and have painstakingly narrowed down our choice of names from 14 to 2. Both my daughter and I love both of these names but cannot decide between the two. Please let me know which you like? Luna or Jia (geeah). Thanks very much!

Thanks everyone! Yes, my double yellow headed amazon says his name all the time! "hello mo, pretty mo bird, wake up wake up mo bird, cmere mo, oooo mo biiiirrd" etc. etc. etc. :-)

My macaw can't say his j's, so he can't say Joe. He says "I love TOE!!!!!" It's priceless.

As a past Macaw and Yellow Nabbed Amazon owner...I will just give you one small piece of advice..What name can you live with hearing repeatedly? Because your birds name is one of the first words they learn, and they usually like to say it A LOT!
Good luck with your new bird, they are so much fun.

Both are beautiful names, but Jia is more unusual & I would probably go with that.

Out of those easily Grace Kai is a masculine boys call. there is not something female, girlie or unisex about it. How about Kaia? it quite is the girls version and is suggested kye-ah. Kaia Gregory sounds more desirable than Kai & Grace Gregory.

i like luna, it means moon in spanish and i think it suits a grey. mysterious and distant but so beautiful.
