Darlin' you are not a curse. You are a treasure. And you need to accept yourself as you are so that you do something constructive with your life!

Look at Oprah. Condolezza Rice, Hallie Barry. Successful happy African-Americans! And we could go on and on with that list....

What you do with your life is up to you, what race you are was up to God...

Some preachers teach that they are descended from Ham. But, regardless if you are a descendent of Ham or not, you are welcome to receive Christ as your Savior and thereby break any curse. Generational curses are real, but because we live in the age of grace, God's love can cover anything we bring to the table. His invitation is to "whoever will". That includes you and anyone else who believes on His only Son, Jesus Christ. Don't let the color of your skin determine your value........God value's you enough to sacrifice His only Son on your behalf. That makes you pretty valuable, I'd say. God is not of a certain race, He is a spiritual being, deity. You must develop a greatful heart to overcome your low self esteem. Begin to list the things about your life you are thankful for......health, your senses, your loved ones, your friends, your talents, etc. Be thankful for your mind. Be thankful for that person who smiled at you today. For food, water, a place to sleep. Rejoice in the sky, the trees, the air you breathe. Then go out and help someone today. Do you think they will refuse a helping hand because of it's color? People all around us can use some help, a kind word, a smile. It's very rewarding to forget your own problems long enough to see someone else's and help them. Pretty soon, your color of skin will not matter to you either. That skin is just one thing that makes you who you are. Don't let it become the only thing you are. I pray God will fill you with His love and peace and let you know how very precious you are to Him. God bless you.

i'm not sure what you are talking about. I am an african american and i don't feel anyhting like a curse. It sounds to me like you are projecting your inner feelings on others. Sometimes when we feel something we think others feel the same way too and we try to make what they do or say correlate with what we feel. I don't feel jealous of any race. In fact i have heard alot of people, usually non-blacks say that it is not fair that i look the way i look without working for it and they wish they had my genes.
I am grateful and satisfied with who i am and what i have but this self content comes with age and maturity. I don't see myself as an african american, i see myself as an individual. I find that identifiers like race, gender, age etc, though they can make you feel like you belong to a group, can be a very self limiting instrument in anyone's life. I am myself much more than i am african american, female etc. In other words what defines me is my individuality more than anything else

We all have cousins who are chimps. No one is a curse. We are all human. Love the fact that your race evolved on the human scale instead of with the chimps and other great apes. You are equal to all humans never forget that. Anyone says you are a curse tell them to kiss where you can't. As for God being white that is nonsense. It is much more likely that God is an Orangutan.
Good Luck

Skin color means nothing. There was a curse on Canaan (the son of Ham, Noah's son) by Noah, and some believe that his descendants populated Africa, but his descendants populated the land above Judah, later to be known as Samaria, and is now part of Israel. It was Ham's son, Mizraim whose descendants populated Africa.

There was also something about the descendants of Cane, but they would have all died in Noah's flood, so that is completely bogus.

Now, concerning PC terms, I wonder how Jamaicans feel about being referred to as Afro-American?

Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:

No one thinks that African Americans are 'cursed'.

There is no need to feel jealous of ANY race.

You cannot change your race or your color, and you should not want to.

I have never heard that African Americans are a curse. If you are not content with who you are, maybe you should spend time getting to know yourself.
I don't know who you are referring "how come YOU believe that there a white God" You singles out a particular person. My God created everyone unique.
I personally believe God is a energy. His form beyond our conception. The title God is simply a universal label everyone can relate to. My relationship with God is as unique as I am.

For every racial or other group on the planet, you'll find another group of people who think they're inferior or cursed in some way.

And I don't believe that God has a race, or even a physical form (I'm Jewish.)

Some ignorant people believe that the mark of Cain was dark skin. That is very hateful and has caused problems for years. King Solomon loved his dark skinned wife (see the Song of Songs).

I don't believe God is white. He is the God of all. Jesus was a Semitic Jew, and He was probably dark skinned, especially since He spent so much time outside. I'm sorry you feel that way. Be proud of the way you are, because God made you in His image.
