my great grandmother was a French Jew. The family converted to Catholicism after her passing. My greatgrandfather was Roman Catholic. Meme died leaving six young children behind with Grandpere to raise them in the early 1900's.

I believe that my greatgrandfather's decision has changed current generations for the worst. I was made knowledgeable of our family's original faith. Generations later, everyone suffered on a spiritual level with our basic concepts deeply rooted in the Jewish Faith; I was considered "rebelious" by my teachers throughout my school years. After all, they WERE Nuns, Brothers and Priests. They would never be able to relate to me the way a Rabbi and his family could relate on a multitude of levels.

Years later, all relatives reverted back to their mother's religion except my Grandmother. She raised her children(my mom and her siblings)catholic which extended to my generation. Our children are free to chose which ever religious life need be. I am just so confused because of my grandmother's siblings. They had so much say in everything that I did:
"If you have a problem: go to the Rabbi. Don't ask the priest! What does he know?!"

Unfortunately, I have remained steadfast to their statement yet unable to convert.

Be proud of the Jewish faith. Stick to the traditions and teachings. Don't let one event in your life change future generations.

No, I am not Jewish; I do not like the Jewish people. Although Judaism itself is a good religion (I personally admire the Jewish religion very much), the Jews nowadays are not - they behave like atheists (for the most part).

Yes
What do you mean by religious? Do you mean observant? Do you mean "believes in God"? Not sure what you're asking there.
