By cause i mean some kind of an issue. It could be global warming, the genocide, segregation, the crisis in the middle east.. it can be ANYTHING

But I want a muslim point of view

For example, one of my issues would be : Islamic Extremism & terrorism because i feel that because of some stupid people, muslims are being streotyped as bad people, and Islam is being viewed as a violent and intolerant religion WHEN IT IS NOT!!

I am a South African born Muslim.
From a South African point of view i think it is essential that other countries learn from us.I am not boasting , but i think as a Muslim living in a non Muslim country , we as Muslims here have so many rights just like every other religion here too.Generally we have religious tolerance with every other religion.
We donot have a problem with terrorism etc.
One can practice and preach his religion whenever or where ever he/she likes.I would like to think that Islam is really flourishing here. There is no religious sterotyping and i wish all countries can be like ours ( minus the crime) .

definitely the core issue wud be to re-create the Khilafat system.. the khilafat system that was officially discontinued after the 2nd world war turkish revolution wud probably serve as a bond between all the muslim countries and provide a strong alliance that wud be able to avert events like the american invasion of iraq and afghanistan.

another thing that wud be rate as 'top priority' wud be to (as pointed out already) clear the misconceptions about islam and to talk with the extremists who are largely not following islam in its true spirit.

I think that people will always have there pre-concieved notions on Islam, I just try to lead a good life and hope people will realize that you have bad people from every religion it doesnt matter the title. The main thing to remember now is that it's ramadan and its time to give zakat, (give money to the poor) We need to find an issue that could actually have hopes of solving. global warming, world peace, genocide....things like that will never be resolved. I think we should just try to help others and hope they learn and understand.

The one thing we need to work towards is unity among muslims. I mean eliminating the hatred between different sects in Islam. Hating others doesn't make you a good muslim, or does it?

hey yall, im afghan fa sho... im not that religious, but keep some of the parts of our book close to my heart!:) Well, dunno if any one that i knoe is being bullied, but is definitely a topic we should approach, for it is a world wide issue. Interact is the club that deals with a lot of global issues, so this is the appropriate place to ask the question. The genocide is pretty hardcore stuff that we should be careful about, but concerned about as a well...well i'll hit u up again...

You answered your own question.
I am not a Muslim but have many friends that are decent and hard working people. The great majority of Muslims who are loving and want peace.
Start spreading the word of peace and criticizing the small per-cent of murderers that are calling themselves Muslims.
By doing this you will show the world that your religion is one of peace and does not condone the slaughter of innocent men, women and yes, children.
Good luck

I believe we need to concentrate on uniting the Muslim world as it once was in the Islamic golden age.

All i see today is Shia VS Sunni and differect sects murdering other muslims.

I'm not a practitioner of of Islam, but I can tell you this...
Muslims NEED to reach out to the communities around them so that your neighbors know that the VAST majority of you guys aren't about violence and intolerance.
This shouldn't ever be a step that anyone of any religious background need to engage in , but that's the world we live in these days.
Good luck to you.

From my viewpoint, it is working on returning to the REAL teachings of Islam as is in Holy Quran and Noble Sunnah, once we do, all the world will know what Islam really is.

well i m not quite certain if the age gives you different priorities
i had lived a good life what i think mostly is to pass my experience to my kids
i work hard on that
may be the age or the place i live in makes my priorities (selfish ones) my whole world is my family either in large meaning or close one
but as my feelings were since youth is to get my kids better than me,and of course here i meant level of understanding and colloquial knowledge
