Another made up story from Eruidiot.
In your details you mention a situation where Marines are at the main entrance to a base I guess standing guard, and US Navy, and US Army personnel are walking in and out of the entrance.
Tell me what base there is within the US that has Marines guarding the gate, and also has large groups of Navy and US Army personnel walking through it together.
Answer: There is no such installation.
At any USMC base there will be US Navy personnel. However, I can tell you from experience that US Navy personnel are nothing but respectful to Marines who are standing post, if they arent then they are arrested..why? Because you cant really f-ck with someone who is standing their post at the entrance to a base even as a joke.
So this little story you posted here is just that...a story.
Go take your meds and make some picket signs, better yet stop lying.

Its a tiff and military thing. My dad was in the military and is like someone said like foot ball teams. They dont like the other team (in a joking way) and think they are better then others so the mock them by saying it. Thats why the gators have the arm smack like a gators mouth and the seminoles have the indian chop like thing.

It is just a Marine thing. I hate it when a non Marine says 'Semper Fi' to me also. It isn't a rival thing, it is just a Marine thing. You have to be one of us to understand it.

Marines thinks they are true warriors (and some of them are), so they do the OoooRah! as a sign of being proud to now be mindless cogs in the Marine Machine. Some people think this is funny and use Ooorah! as a punchline. The Marines finally figured out the joke (15 years later, but better late than never) and were none too pleased.
