If you could create an immigration law... or plan on what should be done with our illegal immigrants starting now... what would it be... ?

I think it would really be cool to
remove all illegal criminals from the U.S.
Put a ban on sending out money to mexico (to help our economy)
Allow green cards for those here but only for those willing to take english classes and be great people... volunteer hours would be nice.
Make a 2 strike your out... law.

I think illegals would have to pay some kind of fee for breaking the law to enter, but we should allow a payment plan to be reasonable...
I would like if we locked down the border so more wouldn't come illegally...
we could set a fair set of guidelines so that those who need to come here may do it but have to give something to our country in return...

such as... voluteer time for an organization or a fee that would go towards schools.
I also believe the process of becoming legal should be more realistic.
Every ADULT in america should be able to pass the citizenship test... not just immigrants...

for you that want to kill people immigrants I would feel really lucky if I were you... that you weren't born in mexico with out a chance for a future and decent life... because if you tried to improve your life you would be dead... oh man I don't think I'll be voting for you for president ha ha...

take into consideration people countries do things that their citizens don't neccesarily agree with... us AMericans should know that.... It's the govt. of mexico... not poor carlos medrano who was born into it...

Aren't we all immigrants? Give amnesty to those people who are already here because we can't deport 12 million people. That is not realistic. That way they start paying taxes like the rest of us. Make the system more realistic for other immigrants who want to come here.

First I would require all hospitals, police, ins agents and employers to submit information on the illegals. Special forces would then be sent immeditally to these places and the ILLEGALS would then be placed in holding until there were enough to fill a bus. They would then be driven back across the border and dropped off.
Secondly, I would place an armed military person every 100 yards along the border with orders to shoot to kill anyone entering this country ILLEGALLY. I think this would deter greatly the amount of people coming across the border illegally.
Any and ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS would be deported post haste and not welcomed back. Finger prints, DNA and personal information would be logged and recorded of everyone being deported, and if they came in again ILLEGALLY, death penalty.
I am sorry to be so harsh, but ILLEGAL Immigration costs billions of dollars and thousands of AMERICAN lives every year. These people have no right to be here the way they came in and they are killing our people and sucking our country dry. They are killing the economy by sending money home that was earned TAX FREE in America instead of cycling it back in to the US Economy. They have NO respect for our laws, our people, our Flag or our country. They just want to try to assimilate the USA in to the country they left. they have no respect for our language and don't even try to learn it. They expect all of us to accomodate them.

Bottom line is simply we have a whole bunch of laws already on the books. The problem isn't one of having more laws, it is a problem simply is enforcing the laws. The immigration think isn't so bad if we just enforce our borders like the government is suppose to and prosecute employers who hire illegals. That is all there is to it! Problem is that seems like everyone thinks they have the right to pick and choose what laws we shall obey. It's about time America we wake up and smell the coffee.....our elected officials need to start acting like they are suppose to and see to it that our laws are enforced. You are here legally or not. If not pack up and get out!

I have nothing against someone trying to better themselves but do it the LEGAL way. And learn to speak english for gosh sakes. I hate to be in a store somewhere and these mexicans are leering at me and jabbering in a language I can't half understand. Burns me up.
Do you know that Mexico does not allow foreign people to protest in Mexico. They do not allow foreigners to buy land in their country. They are very strict with their immigration laws, but they can come over here, take all our money, protest all they want, commit crimes, murder people without any consequences whatsoever. But if I went down to Mexico and started protesting for my rights and and showing my *** I would be executed by firing squad.
That's what needs to happen to them. If we Americans do not stand up for ourselves there will be no such thing as America anymore.

Every person in the the United State would have to have a picture and finger print ID. There would be different IDs for all of the various situations and conditions from guest workers to the the highest levels of government. People with no ID would have to leave the country ASAP. Other controls would come later but we must have some sort of control if there is to be any sort of civilization based upon the rule of law.

Hard Liner, huh? Well I would do this.
Provide amnesty for those who can prove they had a visa at one time AND can pay all back taxes they owe for illigal employment. Then have employers pay all back payroll taxes owed.
Give them a 6mo. green card to work and make them learn english. If they are not employed and proficient in english at this point, deport them but let them have the chance to come back (sponcered work visa through legit business, education visa, etc.)
Build a BIG wall and incarcerate everyone who tries to get through.
Hold Mexico respocible for any costs incured until they police their own borders.
Kill NAFTA!
Set up a libral (broad) guest worker program and hold employeers responcible (ie. fines) for not reporting illigals or legal workers commiting illegal acts.

shut down the borders to illegals. shoot to kill, surely that would stop them. i also agree with cutting off all funding to mexico. it would also hurt them if americans stopped vacationing there. maybe put huge taxes on going to mexico? i don't know... there is no plan that is going to satisfy everybody.

Major fines and jail time for anyone hiring illegals.
No benefits whatsoever for anyone here illegally.
Make it so no one who has entered the country illegally (or overstayed their visa by more than a month or so) has any chance to ever become a citizen.

I would make it a felony to be in this country without status. First time you are caught one year in jail, to be suspended if you agree to be deported. Second time one year in prison. Third time 5 years in prison. Fourth time 10 years. I bet after the second time, many will not be repeat offenders. The employers the same plus fines
