ER is a more realistic hospital show, and leans towards drama. Scrubs is entirely a comedy with doses of stupid humor and sarcasm thrown in. Maybe 3-4 minutes of the show involves patients.

Scrubs has a first person account of what goes on in the hospital and how it affects the staff at Sacred Heart and how they deal with their patients.

ER has too much going on during the show. Sometimes I find it hard to keep up. It isn't as good as it used to be.

will ER focus more on the medical cases and the relationship between the doctors the patients and how they re-act to it. but Scrubs it focus more on the problems that faces the doctors and their relationships with each other, not the romantic ones but the events that happens and cause some problems between them.

the difference is ER is a show that should have been cancelled the season after Carter left, thats about when it jumped the shark. Scrubs is a show that should have never been on the air, it's stupid.

I don't watch Scrubs, have only flipped through the channels and stopped on it for a minute. But it looks like it's more of a comedy...ER is a drama.
