This depends on a lot of different factors, including what type of car, what type of insurance and your grades! If you buy a car straight out so you don't have a loan on it you don't need full coverage and can insure your vehicle for $20-60 a month, depending on the factors. If you pull out a loan then you'll need full coverage, you can also get full coverage for a car that doesn't have a loan, so that it is fully protected! This is about twice as much, and averages about 120 or more a month. The problem is that it also depends highly on what type of car. If you just buy a cheap car that isn't a sports car and isn't foriegn and the parts aren't too expensive then it won't cost as much for insurance. A ford focus would probably be this type of car. Insurance on a nice, fancy car that goes too fast or is classified as a sports car is more. A truck is even more and a SUV is about the same, depending on the type. There are just too many open ends. I would think about what type of car you want and visit a website which will give you fee online quotes.

I will say that depend on what car you drive because i have a 2005 Honda crv ex with black paint and it cost me about 250 and I'm 22 years now so for your cause i will say that i will cost you from 175 to 350 for a month because you are under the age and not a bit of driving experience so i will say a better way to do this is get an insurance with your parent name let them include you on their insurance but you have to be a very careful driver because if you do that your parents will trust you and also your insurance rate will go down if not incident or ticket over the year about the car insurance company i can't tell you because they all expensive but they have a different reason too. I have a Bristol car insurance and i been with them for three years now and my rate are going down a bit. so i will say call any car insurance company with you may like and ask them for a rate and quote and be sure of the car you choose if you have an SUV or Coupe sporty car with two door that will cost you more on insurance so good luck.

It may be up to $2000 a year or more, because of your age. but it depends on the kind of car you drive, how far you drive everyday, if your in school and what kind of grades you are getting. and the big one your driving record, the last one are you a smoker some, companies look at that also. but don't get the first one you look at do some shopping around. and as time goes by and you keep up on your payments and don't get any tickets the Price will come down. so lets say one year from now that would be a good time to start looking a gain. because you have shown that your not as much of a risk and there willing to drop the price OH one more thing were in live can change the price also .good luck

the cheapest BY FAR, would be if you add your coverage under your parents' policy. You will still be rated high risk as an inexperienced driver, under 25, and single, but the discount will come from having more than one car on the same policy.

Each state and region has different rates because of differing accident rates and repair costs. Gotta shop in your area.
