It actually could mean a lot of different things. My husband, for example had blood in his stool and it ended up being rectal cancer. I don't want to scare you, but I think he needs to get checked out ASAP.

Sounds like bleeding ulcers to ME
but they don't allow ME to practice medicine !!

There are entirely too many SERIOUS things that
this could be -- not to go into the Doctor and have
this scoped out is an invite to absolutely horriffic
consequences !! Any type of regular unexplainable
blood loss is a serious matter !!

I dont want to scare you, but your husband should go and see the doctor as soon as possible. It could be various things. So get him to go

He should go to a doctor and have himself evaluated for peptic ulcer or diverticulitis. My guess is diverticulitis.

Could be something as simple as a hemorrhoid.
