I think witches are part of a "coven" rather than a congregation, and they have magical ceremonies at which they meet up. I think in general however, Wicca is a bit less organized and rigid than a typical church so how, when and why they choose to meet up and in which fashion is usually left up to the coven members.

Well, first of all, Wiccans aren't the same thing as witches. Witches practice witchcraft which isn't particular to any one religion. Wicca is a religion that may or may not include witchcraft depending on the preference of the individual. There are some Wiccan churches, but the most common form of group worship are covens. Not all Wiccans belong to a coven or church though. These are solitary practicioners. Many Wiccans don't find it necessary to establish a place for practicing their religion because they believe that all of nature is their temple and that Wicca is a personal matter anyway.

Not really. There are some pagan/ wiccan appreciation days were they can come together like a church or something. Some are also in cults, which could also be like a church, but mostly they don't really have anything like that, well, none that I know of anyway.

Try witchvox.com for open circles and contacts. If there is a local Unitarian Universalist church nearby- they may have a group of pagans also (ours does, and they do the Sunday service 2X per year too.)
Some wiccans are in groups/covens, some are solitary- it really depends. Some of our local groups are also advertised in the paper.
Hope this helps.

I think if we have our choice, we'd rather honor our deities out in nature, whether alone or in a group. This isn't always possible, though.
Witches are witches, male or female. No real Wiccan or Pagan would call himself a warlock. It is a derogatory term that will reveal a poseur faster than anything else.

Wiccans have covens. Solitary witches generally work alone. Unitarian Chrurches often welcome Pagans.
Some go to gatherings to meet other likeminded people. Or meet others online. There are some good websites out there.

No we usually gather at one anothers homes. Sometimes the local UU church will allow us to use their basments for ritual.
Sometimes Covens will allow non members to come and join them for rituals.
Also there are meetup groups that meet just for fellowship.
Check out http://www.witchvox.com they have local groups of witches.
Or try http://meetup.com
You might find a coven or a group near you.
Blessings,
Aviana

To the little witches room??? It's down the hall and to the left.
By the way, is this correct - somebody told me that witches are all female, while warlocks are the male counterpart.
