Should the Marines be given the airpower to cause total submission by the savages who are still fighting ?

given the airpower no...and im sure it wont ever happen. BUT it does promote a pretty nice alternative to fighting...

No it gained't.because as long as they're there,even with in case you despatched 100000 particular forces,there'll be a tactics a lot less Taliban because they're going to cover and integrate contained in the civilian inhabitants. they gained't wrestle yet wait it out. the attempt in Afghanistan needs to illustrate the Afghan those who we are in it for the longer time period and could not abandon them. A surge would not help in any respect easily because the Taliban are cowards as I see it or staggering strategist as they see it likely

No.There has been 25000 marines there for a while now .They couldnot do it.Now they want to leave iraq and try ato do better in afganistan.

The Marines aren't as well trained as the SF personnel that are there.
