***Addition*** In response to Peter V ccw is carry concealed weapon (I belive that is the order, concealed and carry might be switched though), also could I get the required training and such before I turn 21?

Federal law requires that you be 21, so you won't find any state allowing less. Here is a link to the application form for Ohio CCW licensure, showing 21 is required there.

As soon as you are legal age to buy and carry a handgun you can get the permit. (21)

Go to Atwells in Painsville, they have a CCW class and a lot of bew/used firearms for sale. That is where I got my Glock. Gander Moutain's handgun prices are way too high, don't buy from them. Another good place to get them is a small gun store by the Lake County jail in Painsville, they have pretty good prices, but the selection is smaller.
